UCD Newman Centre for the Study of Religions is an Academic Centre of University College Dublin, affiliated to UCD School of Philosophy. The aim of the Centre is to promote the work and legacy of John Henry Newman (1801-1890) and to provide a national and international forum for cross-disciplinary academic research into religions and faith in all their aspects, with inclusivity towards different religious traditions, perspectives, and values. The Centre Director is Dr. Daniel Esmonde Deasy (Assistant Professor, UCD School of Philosophy).
